North Conway, N.H.

To many people, North Conway and shopping is Mount Washington Valley, but to those of us who live here, there's a lot more to this town. There's the village, with its signature train station, small shops and restaurants and Schouler Park. Kearsarge, the section of town northeast of the village is primarily a residential area, and to the west of the village are a number of other residential neighborhoods, including Birch Hill and Hale's Location.

Schools

John Fuller Elementary School includes 1st through 8th grade. Students then go to Kennett High School in Conway.

Recreation

In front of the train station is Schouler Park, next door is the community center and gazebo with summer concerts, playground, and golf course. North of the village is the Whitaker Woods trail system. To the west is the Saco River, and if you look up, you'll often see climbers on Cathedral and White Horse Ledges or Cranmore ski resort to the East. On hot summer days, take a refreshing dip in Echo Lake State Park or lounge at Diana's Baths.
