Bartlett, N.H.

With a population of 2,544, the town of Bartlett is named for the first American governor of New Hampshire, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. You might guess that our hometown is one of our favorite places in the Valley. The town of Bartlett includes Glen and Intervale; if you say "Intervale" to a local, they'll know you mean the area from the Intervale Scenic Vista to the top of Stanley's Hill.

Schools

Award winning Josiah Bartlett Elementary School includes Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students then go to Kennett High School in Conway.

Recreation

Attitash Bear Peak is a ski/snowboarding resort in winter with a waterpark and mountain biking and hiking in summer. Hiking trails crisscross the town, and for the adveturist, climb the cliffs of Mount Stanton or canoe and white water kayaki on the Saco River.
